I've got a brand new pair of roller skates, you've got a brand new key I just won an ebay auction. I have never bid on anything I wanted before. But I won. Yeay! It's a cute pair of Sketcher's 4WhEElers roller skates. I got it for $38.50 plus S&H. I used to be pretty good on a pair of skates, I could skate on one leg like a figure skater, skate backwards, hop, twirl, etc. My Mom thinks I'm going to kill myself, but at least I'll go happy. That's how I lost a lot of weight before was roller skating in my basement. The one where I live now is much smaller, but hopefully I'll get the same results. Did you hear that they are refusing to raise the minimum wage? That sucks. I think it should be raised, even a little bit. Prices are going through the roof on absolutely everything, but the pay stays the same. How are people supposed to live? I told my Mom today that we need to start canning our food and spinning our own clothes. I was halfway serious about it, but by the way she cackled I don't think it will happen. I took my second math test yesterday and got an 89%. I had such a sinus headache that my head had actually gone numb. On the back page of the test I started getting confused and my head started to swim, but I only missed two questions on the whole thing. Maybe I do better when I'm in excruciating pain. I think I'll leave that as a hypothesis and not try to prove it. I went to the mall today with my older brother and Mom. I haven't been in a mall for about two years. We went into a store I had never been in called H0t Topic ( www.hottopic.com). It's a goth/rock/punk/alternative store. I'm glad I'm basically broke, or as broke as I care to be, because I could have maxed out my accounts there. I didn't think I'd be into that kind of thing, but I loved it. They even have a kind of 40's retro spectator high heel shoe (That's a clickable link) that I have wanted for years. If anybody loves me, that's what I want. I'd take a size 9. (Heh heh. Just kidding, of course. I can buy them myself, someday.) I just I need to dig up $28.99 and go get those. Eventually. My bank account is laughing at me about it. Especially since I paid for the roller skates today. Well, another math class tomorrow morning. |
