Ladies and Gentlemen, we've got a really big show
Written @ 2:35 a.m. on September 21, 2005

So I start college this Thursday. I pared down my schedule because I dropped a class, which will help with the load a little bit. I, of course, have since broken out and most of my clothes are either dirty beyond the sniff-hey-that's-not-dirty thing or they are packed up in the black hole of packing boxes and trash bags. I could handle the laundry if the washer and dryer were actually hooked up. I might be striking shock and awe into the hearts of my new class by doing a Lady G0diva and arriving nekkid. The shock and awe of the bad variety.

Anyway.

I have no books thus far. That makes me nervous. I know that the teachers are lenient on this and that they just require the books by the next class or so. Still, the horrible fear lurks in the back of my mind that the teachers won't abide by this and bad, bad things will happen. To me and my bookless self.
But I fully intend to drag myself to downtown campus and fight to the death for buy used books. I also have a cable guy coming to work on our service and my Uncle and his friend coming to hook up the aformentioned washer and dryer. And fix about twenty small things around the new place. I suppose I should mention that all this is set to occur at the same time. Well. Color my Wednesday interesting. It'll work out.

And now for my next panic attack: Homework that is fifty million pages long that I'll have no idea what to do and fail miserably and my teachers will hate me. Coming soon to a diary near you.

But aside from that, I just ordered my very first thing online. I got an offer from a flower bulb catalog for $25.00 worth of free products, so I cashed that in today on 34 bulbs of multicolored Double Poppy Anemone mix (Ooh, pretty clickable link..), so my yard will be covered in flowers this spring. That's going to be awesome. Plus you can't beat something of quality for free. Besides, it's not like I planned for my order to be low enough that I'd get it for free or anything.. *Tries to look innocent*

Well, I have a million things to do in the morning, and that's tough when you're practically comatose, so I'm off to bed. Pleasant dreams everyone and have a good Wednesday.
