Watchin' the news I shouldn't watch the news and be doing a diaryland entry at the same time. It seems for about the millionth time, another person has gone the wrong way on an 0hio highway. I don't get it. Have people stopped reading the signs? Are there just more stupidly drunk people on the roads? What gives? I really don't get it. Just within the past six months, there have been so many cases like that. Last week it was some lady who was plastered, and thank goodness she didn't kill anyone. That is not the norm. Usually someone gets ripped away from those they love because of someone elses jackassed mistake. It just makes you wonder what's going on. I have been reading furiously through "@tlas Shrugged", and am up in the 200's somewhere. It's good, I just think she could have made her point in a lot fewer words. Tropical storm @rlene has made life so much harder for those who made it out of last year's hurricane season. I just hope everyone down there is okay. Tomorrow it is supposed to be up in my relative's neck of the woods, around N@shville and Cl@rksville, TN. Then it's going to be up around me in central 0hio probably Tuesday. Fun stuff. The rain needs to leave, so I can go till my garden, get rid of the flourishing weeds and get some more sweet yellow corn planted. |
