Excuse me, sir, do you have any Grey Poupon?

Heh. Funny stuff. So today has been a day of interesting turns of events, even though they have been small. My young brother had just about lost interest in his drum lessons. But we went today anyway and his teacher just gushed about what a natural he is. So of course now he is interested again. But really, the kid is good. Wow. I just sat there and watched him and got all gooey mushy about how my little boy is growing up so fast. He may be my brother, but in a lot of ways he's almost my son. After my Dad passed away, I stepped in to help take care of him. So he has two moms basically. So he's doubly nagged. Poor kid. But at least he is aware of other's feelings and a very good boy. My uncle has even admitted that we did a great job raising him. I'm so proud. So the weather has been insane lately. It was at least 85 degrees today and humid as could be. So around 8pm (when it's light out still this time of year- daylight savings time) it got dark as night and man did the clouds look mean. My brother is scared of storms and kind of freaked out but since I didn't panic, he stopped and relaxed and we watched the storm together. It was pretty great, actually. Maybe he'll be okay with them from now on, at least for the most part. I think it's still raining, and the temp has dropped quite a bit. Tomorrow's going to be downright chilly- in the upper sixties and partly sunny. I've got to check on my garden in the morning, see what all the wind did to my precious veggies. Other than finishing up my brothers history project and gluing my shirt to the desk on accident, that's about it.
