Random assortment of mentalities, brought to you by a rainy day
Written @ 11:15 p.m. on April 26, 2005

So right now I am crunching on ice and freezing the gum I've been chewing for hours. That is about the most exciting thing that has happened today. Seriously. Today was grey and rainy and boring. The clouds hung low over the treetops and it poured. So mainly I was busy getting my medical terms down for my final on Saturday. I've got just three chapters I had to learn on my own out of class (25 words a chapter) to finish my 350 words. Once I get my final done I can go out to hospitals and put in my application right away. Yeay job. That means pay, hella good insurance and benefits, and fantastic job security. I am so set.
Other than that I've just been looking into more college medical courses, till I can make up my feeble mind whether to stay here or go elsewhere. It's a really tough decision and one I'm going to take my time making. So we'll see.
I had a strange train of thought earlier. I rarely think about kids, I guess I would like to have them someday, but I'm not rushing into it. However, I was in the car with my Mom and brother going to a toy store, and suddenly I was thinking hard about baby names. I already named my two girls I'd like to have, except for the middle name of the second girl. My first one will be Georgia Grace. Grace is for my Aunt, who was Grace Sue. Then I'd like to have a boy in between (still thinking on names for him), and Emily something for the last. I want something different. Maybe another family name, I'm not sure. Maybe Katherine for my Grandma, or Cordelia for my great-grandma. Or some flower. See? It's weird. I've always figured I'd be more career oriented and not have time for kids. Now I don't know. Such a crazy thing. See what a boring rainy day can make you do? Yeah. Unusual stuff.
I also had in-depth thinking about buying a G0dfather's pizza franchise and starting it here in Gr0ve City ( so yummy, so plausible an idea), and renting a house once I have a year in my soon-to-be-gotten job. Decorating my style. Peace and quiet. Oh. Yeah.
