Georgia on my Mind

Things have been moving so fast lately. I'm almost all packed to move into my new apartment. Construction was just finished up on the 12th of this month. It's so exciting! It was almost like watching my own home being built.. oh wait a minute, that's exactly what happened.
Other than that i've been stressing over new college applications. I've picked Savannah College of Art and Design, because it has the Historic Preservation and Architectural History that I want. So I can now get into the Historic Preservation field like I want. And start my own Preservation firm like I intend to. So things are falling into place, I just have no patience to wait.
So Savannah, Georgia. I had never thought about Georgia before. But I looked, and it's perfect. Plus it's on the ocean, which I think I'm going to love. I'm a mountain person, they soothe my soul and brings peace when no where else can. But I've never thought of living on the coast. Or, once again, Georgia. So maybe a total change of venue will help. I'm extremely excited about it. I almost can't wait till next fall.
Until then I'll be setting up shop in my new apartment on Friday, getting my Unit Coordinator job and earning money towards tuition. Now that I have a fantastic car that actually runs, I can focus my energy and money on another college. Hopefully, it will be much better suited to me than Heidelberg was. I'm positive it will be. Thank god.
