No test for me; Insurance; Extremely Annoying Guy
Written @ 2:06 a.m. on September 12, 2003

So. I was up at 5:30am. I was out the door at 6:30am, in the car to be at the testing center by 7:15. Went out to the mustang. Turned the key in the ignition: vroom. Sputter-choke. Silence. Okay, I'd try that again. vroom. Sputter-clickclickclick-choke-sizzle. Silence. That was a clear sign that karma hates me. The car did not start, so I had to reschedule the test for October 16th. Many tears and unwisely eaten cookies later, I'm still upset but dealing with it. Bah.

That's about it. We have a temporary fix for the car, regarding upping the idle to around 700-1000 rpm and holding it with clear nail polish. I'm thinking that won't last too long. But at least we have a way around for maybe another day or two.

Tomorrow I go to try for insurance. Hopefully I can get it, because I need to go to the doctors for blood tests, and those are way too expensive to do without insurance. My pcos is working good with the glucophage, except I probably need on birth control for hormone regulation. Fun stuff.

I'm unhappy with the guy I'm dating. He would be the greatest guy. Really sensitive, caring, etc. If only he would stop.talking. He tries too damn hard to impress me with how much he knows, and he talks way too much. Imagine walking five miles with someone who doesn't pause the constant talking to breathe. He's a nice, super sweet guy, but I don't think things will work out. He's trying too hard to impress me and the yammering is driving me out of my mind.

Here is the email I got from him today, I don't know how to interpet it:

Hiya Heather!

Well we got our internet hooked up today, so I thought I would write.

I didn't go to work today or yesterday because I have been having these nasty cramps and pains -- definitely a gastrointestinal cold, maybe even salmonella. If it is salmonella, the incubation would have to be 2-3 days, meaning it was probably one of the chicken sandwiches I had from Rally's over the weekend, yay! But I plan on drinking some pink bismuth tonight and going to work tomorrow, because I need the money:P

So how are you, and how has your week been thusfar? And are we still on for roasted pig on Saturday, and all that jazz?

Talk to me soon, sweet pea.

B.

I wish I knew what to do about him. But I just don't know.
