Something tells me I'm on to something good

No, he didn't kill me and hide my body in a corn field. I have just been off the computer, hanging around the house.

My date went really well. He's super sweet, and took me, my Mom and brother out for dinner before our date, and paid for everything even though he didn't have to. We didn't go down to the sweet corn festival because it had rained and so it was really muddy. Instead we went to a little park in the middle of the city I never knew existed, called the Park of Roses. It is just what the name says, filled with more varieties of roses than you would ever think existed. Most of them were still blooming, and smelled wonderful. We walked around and talked about everything under the sun. While we were there, a couple on the other side of the gardens had a wedding ceremony, which was just beautiful to see and hear from the distance we were. He knows a lot about flowers so he took the time to hold the roses up for me to smell and told me about the history of some of the older ones.

After we left from there he took me to my suprise, which was what I had guessed (I didn't let on though), which was tickets to the OSU/Washington State game. It was the first game of the year and there were over one hundred and seven thousand people in the stadium. It was great because I had never been to a game or inside the stadium. He told me he had a friend who works at the stadium so he can get us in to walk around the field sometime. I don't know hardly anything about football, so all through the game he leaned close to my ear and explained everything that was going on. We had good seats too, practically beside the field. Afterward we had to take a bus back to where we parked, so we talked and laughed the whole way. In the middle of the ride he asked me out for Thursday, and I'm going to go. He's the nicest guy, and pretty cute too. He kept asking if everything was all right, if I was enjoying the game, opening doors and pulling out chairs for me all night. My Mom and Uncle approve of him. My brother likes him, and so do I. I think this could have the potential to be something special and long term. I'm not going to rush things, or get ahead of myself. But I think this might be a good thing.
