So much information in an itty bitty living space! Not much is going on for once. I've got my college stuff for the settled for the most part. I just need to sit down and start thinking about my Ged. Which of course I'll need before I think about higher education. I've got the application for it all filled out, all I need to do is send it off. I'll get my info back in 7-10 days and probably a week later I will have my Ged test time and location so I can take it. My Mom saw how hard a time I have been having studying for the math part and she said she'll help me every day. I am just the worst at math. So I need all the help I can get. I've got all the rest of it down. If I don't pass my Ged the first time, it'll be because of the math. Then I have to wait 30-120 days before I can take it again, depending on how many answers I miss. I am crossing everything I can cross that I won't miss enough to fail it and I can get my diploma and really move on with everything. I'm still going to college next fall no matter what. I just have a test to take before I can totally concentrate on it. Then I have to get a job and bust ass to make the money to get there. Plus, my car is dead again. So there's more money I have to pay out for that. I'm wondering if it just might be better to sell my most-loved little car and save up for another one. I don't want to do that at all. I love my zippy little vdub. But I can't keep repairing everything because it's getting expensive. Tomorrow we're getting a lovely kitten from my friend, who was suddenly saddled with six of them when she found them starving outside her apartment building and took them in. They're all gorgeous and they're doing fine healthwise now. I just can't believe how friendly and loving they are after having such a shabby start. I'm just hoping my smokey cat, who is king around here will get along with her. He's seven, set in his ways and jealous of anything that gets attention when he doesn't, so we'll see. ======================================= My brother starts school again on the 25th! I can't believe how fast his break has gone by. Pretty soon all the leaves will start changing and the weather will begin to get cooler. I can't tell you just how much I love fall. It makes me want to clasp my hands, jump up and down and giggle with joy. I don't think I've ever done that before. I will fight the urge once again. But oh how I love that season. I also love halloween to no end. I could walk through stores looking at halloween decorations for hours on end. Love halloween. Love fall. Much happiness that fall is on it's way. I'm hoping Ty likes school this year. He has some separation anxiety and doesn't like to go because he's away from Mom and I. He also thinks he's not good in his classes, but he really is. He just needs to slow down. He wants to get through the work so fast that there is where he makes mistakes. He is such a smart kid though. I just wish he'd believe me when I tell him so. ======================================= Well ya'll, I'm tired and my meatball sub from earlier is not agreeing with me. It's terrible when you eat SubWays at around 7:30pm and you can still taste it at around 3:30am. Rolaids spells relief. |
