Eeeee! The happy dance entry I have new shoes. Perfectly impractical, gorgeous shoes. Today I bought my first pair of heels. I got dark blue open toe slingback mootsie tootsie's with a nice high chunky heel. They are so fabulously retro I just can't stand it. Gawd I love those shoes. How much did I spend for these perfect shoes? Eleven dollars and eighty cents. Oh.Yeah. *Happy dance* ======================================= I looked in the mirror at the shoe store and I couldn't believe just how baggy my jeans are on me now. It's crazy. Do you know how great it makes me feel to know I need a size smaller jeans? *second happy dance of the entry* I also am taking the fantabulous Yam's advice in the Digs Pilates thread and trying her balanced fitness program she wrote about. Thank you, Yam! I also went to the grocery store and bought all manner of veggies, fruit and lean chicken and pork. I'm going on a healthy diet and exersize plan! I am so excited. ======================================= I'm going tomorrow to get my hair cut in a cute shorter style. Maybe in a week or two I'll get some highlights put in too. I'm remaking my appearance. I was not happy about how I looked so I'm changing it in a healthy way for the better. I'm actually wearing makeup for a change. I felt so good with my recent weight loss that it's inspired some confidence. I'm quite a bit happier than I was. ======================================= I've got to get to my rental office in columbus to pay the rent, and they still owe me that resident verification letter so I can go get health insurance. It'll be good to get checked out and see if there's anything wrong healthwise. ======================================= Turns out I'm not going to repaint my car. Our mechanic/friend has told us that it is not worth it. I'll be able to run it for a year or so and then it will be best to take it to one of those "push pull or drag it in" events that the dealerships do. So in other words my little car is on it's last leg. Or tire. ======================================= My best friends adorable little boy will be one year old on the 5th. I am having so much trouble trying to find a present I think he'll like. Any ideas? ======================================= Hope everyone is having the best week ever! |
