She's makin' a list, checkin' it twice I've decided to make a list of things I want to do to make myself feel better. ~Get my old bike into rideable condition again. ~Take art lessons so I can have time to myself, and so I can create something. ~Start eating smaller portions, of healthier foods. Start exercizing in ways that I like. I'm thinking of trying yoga and/ or CUrves for W0men. ~Get out of the house more, either driving, biking or walking (being stuck in the house with my Mom and brother all the time is a big part of my problem I think. I haven't been out with friends since October of 2001. I haven't been out by myself doing things for me since around April or so of last year. I'm completely serious.) ~I'm going to start writing pen to paper again, whether it be starting a book, poems, written journal, etc. ~I'm scheduling my GED for next month. After I've passed it I plan to fill out college applications and start looking for the right one (it's always been my big dream to go to college.) ~I'm headed to a place Monday where I might be able to get health and perscription drug insurance (first time in three years). If I can get it I'm going to the doctor and getting put back on my medication for social phobia, having a checkup, blood tests run, etc. See a dentist, get my eyes checked and no matter how much it scares me to death, go see a gyno for the first time. ~I'm going to make sure I hug my brother and Mom at least three times a day, and tell them how much I love them/how much they mean to me. ~I'm going to get out and do things with my bro a few times a week. Play games, go out to lunch, take him to the park, etc. ~I'm going to start taking pictures. I've always wanted to do photography, I think I'll take it up. ~I'm getting my sleep pattern on schedule so I can be up in the mornings with my family. So thats what I've got so far. I think it will make a vast improvement on my mood and my life. I'm happier already. I need a more positive outlook on life, so I'm trying to have one. ======================================= It's true. I have always been very drawn to water. I prefer wide clear streams with rocky bottoms you can walk through, like in the Smokey Mountains. It's crazy that I'm terrified of water and can't swim, isn't it?
